At some point, our children will look for images of us, of their past, and what will they find?
I have not always been a photographer. I spent many years as a geriatric physical therapist, working with the elderly. I have seen the ever increasing value of portraits of FAMLY: family groups, family members, family friends and life events. The images help us remember our past, celebrate our present and have hope for the future. This is my "why" of photography, why I choose this path now.
Family comes in all shapes, sizes, and flavors. Some with children, some with fur babies, some in their very own unique iteration. All deserve recognition and the capturing of this fleeting time.
